Where to find it
Go to Settings in the sidebar, then scroll to the bottom. You'll see a Danger zone section with a Delete my account button.
Choose your deletion mode
When you click the button, you get two options:
30-day grace period (recommended)
This is the safer choice. Your account is marked for deletion but remains fully accessible for 30 days. A reminder email is sent on day 29. During this period you can change your mind at any time by clicking the cancellation link in the email.
Delete immediately
This permanently removes your account and all data right away - invoices, customers, products, expenses, reports, everything. This action cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your user account and login credentials
- Your business profile and settings
- All invoices, estimates, credit notes and recurring templates
- All customers and products
- All expenses, payments and journal entries
- Uploaded files (logos, QR codes, receipts)
Before you delete
Consider these steps first:
- Export your data. Download any invoices or reports you may need for your records. Use the Export buttons on each list page.
- Cancel your subscription. If you're on a paid plan (Pro or Business), go to Billing and cancel first so you aren't charged again.
- Check for active PayFast subscriptions. If customers have active recurring payment subscriptions linked to your PayFast account, cancel them in your PayFast dashboard to stop future charges.
We don't keep copies of your data after deletion. If you think you might return, the 30-day grace period gives you time to decide without losing anything.
