Why every quote should become an invoice

A signed quote is a promise to buy. Failing to invoice it is leaving money on the table.

When a customer approves your quote, the hardest part of the sale is done. They've agreed to the price, the scope and the timeline. What happens next decides whether that approval becomes cash in your account.

Approval is the green light

Treat an accepted quote like a signed order. The moment it's approved, you have a legal right to invoice for the agreed work. Every day you wait to send that invoice is a day of free credit you're extending.

Convert, don't retype

The magic of a good tool is that the invoice is the quote - re-numbered. The line items, prices, tax and customer stay identical, so nothing gets "lost in translation" between what you promised and what you bill.

Keep a paper trail

An accepted quote plus the matching invoice gives you a clean, auditable record: what was offered, what was accepted, and what was billed. If a dispute ever arises, the paper trail settles it in minutes, not weeks.

In MyFinance Studio, converting an estimate to an invoice is one click - same items, same totals, new invoice number. The estimate is marked converted so you never double-bill.
